HAWKS HITTERS
Chowan enters the contest with a 15-20 overall record and an 11-2 mark in CIAA action following their sweeps of Virginia State and Virginia Union last weekend.
Beth Walker leads the offensive attack hitting .442 with 42 hits, 16 doubles and two home runs. Haley Cooper is hitting .360 on the season with 41 hits and 20 RBI.
Brittany Parson is hitting .345 with a team leading 31 RBI. Miranda Glover paces the team with six home runs.
Shannon Buchanan is 5-1 in the circle in CIAA contests with a 2.50 ERA with 40 strikeouts. EmaRae Flores is 6-1 in the circle with a 2.77 ERA.
CAGING THE LIONS
Lincoln (Pa.) enters the series with a 2-24 overall record and a 1-14 CIAA record. The Lions have lost 14 straight games.
Tierra Russaw leads the Lions with a .308 batting average with 20 hits. Jemiah Groce is 1-15 in the circle as a starter with a 12.28 ERA.
LEASHING THE BULLDOGS
Bowie State is 6-16 on the season and 6-7 in CIAA action this season.
Kristina Hawke leads the Bulldogs with a .417 batting average. Tiffany Bearns and Madison Margas is hitting .407 and .400 respectively. Bearns leads the team with seven home runs and 22 RBI.
Morgan Powell is 3-6 in the circle with a 7.93 ERA. Kristina Hawke is 3-10 in the circle this season.
