MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Lacrosse suffered a non-conference loss to Embry-Riddle at home on Saturday afternoon as the Eagles pulled away in the third quarter.

Patrick Egan posted five points netting three goals and two assists. Alex Clabaugh recorded seven points with two goals and a career-high five assists.
Noah Holloway recorded three goals. Jaxson Martin scored twice and added an assist.
Austin Lee netted two goals.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Quarter:
Austin Lee put the Hawks on the board off a pass from Austin Clabaugh. Embry-Riddle netted two goals before Clabaugh evened the score off a dish from Jaxson Martin.
Jaxson Martin evened the score at three before Noah Holloway netted a man-up goal.
Second Quarter:
Both teams exchanged goals in the period as Patrick Egan produced a man-up goal off the assist from Quintin Bender.
ERUA pushed their lead to 7-5 before Patrick Egan and Noah Holloway scored to even the contest at 7-all.
Third Quarter:
Embry-Riddle took control of the contest in the third period outscoring the Hawks 9-1. The Eagles led 11-7 before Jaxson Martin found the back of the net off a pass from Alex Clabaugh.
The Eagles led 16-8 heading to the fourth quarter.
Fourth Quarter:
Noah Holloway put the Hawks on the board with an unassisted goal. Patrick Egan found Alex Clabaugh for a goal five minutes into the final frame.
Austin Lee and Patrick Egan found the back of the net for the final two goals in the contest.
