HAWKS HITTERS
Chowan enters the contest with a 9-20 overall record and a 5-2 mark in CIAA action.
Beth Walker continues to lead the Hawks at the plate with a .405 batting average. Walker has 32 hits, 11 doubles, and two home runs this season. Brittany Parson leads the team with 23 RBI on the season and is hitting .333. Haley Cooper is second on the squad with a .354 average and 34 hits.
Jesse Gentry has been swinging the hot bat lately picking up CIAA Rookie of the Week honors after hitting three home runs over the weekend. Gentry is hitting .318 on the season and has nine doubles. Miranda Glover paces the team with five home runs.
STOPPING THE VIKINGS
Elizabeth City State is 5-13 on the season and posts a 3-4 mark in CIAA action.
Alyssa Griffin leads the Vikings with a .404 batting average on the season. D'Aysa Wilson is hitting .364.
