HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan capped off the 2018 season with a 31-16 overall record on their way to claiming back-to-back CIAA Championships. The Hawks appeared in the NCAA Atlantic Regionals for the fourth time in program history.
The Blue and White is led by preseason All-CIAA picks: Lindsey Stigler, Shannon Buchanan, Beth Walker, Brittany Parson, Donya Salman, Haley Cooper, and Mackenzie Taggart.
Lindsey Stigler led the team in 2018 with a .420 batting average, 11 home runs, and 43 RBI. Beth Walker added 10 home runs and 41 RBI during her freshman season. Shannon Buchanan wet 16-8 in the circle with a 3.01 ERA.

Lenoir-Rhyne enters the season ranked 19th in the country after finishing the 2018 season with a 45-10 overall record and a trip to the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship game.
Emily Kenley and Kylee Leonhardt earned South Atlantic Conference postseason honors last season. Kenley posted a 24-5 overall record in the circle with a 1.81 ERA and 125 strikeouts. Leonhardt hit .389 with 15 doubles, 11 home runs and 51 RBI as a freshman.
