HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS

Chowan is on a four game skid to drop to 17-12 on the season.  The Hawks are in a tie for first place in the CIAA Northern Division sitting atop the standings at 6-0.

Beth Walker and Lindsey Stigler have been crushing the ball this season leading the team with eight home runs each.  Walker leads the team at the plate with a .394 batting average, while Stigler is second with a .386 average.  Stigler and Kris Neal have posted a team leading 32 hits this season.

Shannon Buchanan is 8-6 in the circle this year, while Shelby Griffis is 7-6.  Buchanan leads the pitching staff with 60 strikeouts.

VIKING VIEW

Cheyan Brassuer leads the Vikings with a .372 batting average.  The Vikings have tallied 74 total hits this season. 

ECSU pitching staff is allowing 14.64 runs per game while scoring 1.80 per outing.

SERIES IN REVIEW

Chowan leads the overall series 21-0 including an 8-0 mark in Elizabeth City, N.C.
