Sunday's doubleheader against Bowie State will be senior day for: Shelby Griffis, Kris Neal, and Molly Rosenthal.
HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan sits atop the CIAA Northern Division standings with a perfect 12-0 mark and 6-0 in the division. The Hawks are 23-14 on the season after getting tripped up in a non-conference doubleheader against UNC Pembroke this week.
Beth Walker and Lindsey Stigler have been crushing the ball this season leading the team with nine home runs each. Stigler and Walker lead the team with a .411 and .395 batting average respectively.
Shannon Buchanan is 11-6 in the circle this year, while Shelby Griffis is 10-7. Buchanan leads the pitching staff with 77 strikeouts.
CLOSING IN ON A CIAA NORTHERN DIVISION TITLE
Lincoln (Pa.) is 2-14 on the season and winless in the CIAA at 0-12.
Bowie State is 12-15 on the season and 7-9 in CIAA action. The Bulldogs are tied for third in the Northern Division at 5-3.
