Corey Bolam, Trenton Lee, and Marquise Lanier recorded a RBI.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Pacers jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning on three hits and a Chowan miscue.

Chowan looked to chip away at the deficit in the top of the second inning as Robert Williams led off the inning with a walk.  Williams moved up to second on the wild pitch.  Anthony Jefferson singled to left for the first hit of the contest for the Hawks but would end up stranded on the bags.

In the top of the fourth inning, Chowan was able to knot the contest at 3-all.  Trent Brosdahl started the inning reaching on an error.  Harley Davidson and Corey Bolam picked up singles to score Brosdahl for the first run for the Hawks.  Trenton Lee brought home Davidson on a fielder's choice before Harry Markotay singled to load the bases.  Marquise Lanier hit a single to right field to knot the game at 3.

An error, wild pitch, and a double allowed USC Aiken to regain the lead in the bottom of the fourth, 4-3.

The Pacers used a four run fifth and sixth inning to extend their advantage to 12-3.

Harry Marotay and Noah Cartwright drew walks in the top of the eighth and moved into scoring position but back-to-back strikeouts ended the threat.

USC Aiken took advantage of the bullpen of the Hawks scoring seven runs in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Tristan Council drew a walk to lead off the top of the ninth inning but was unable to spark a rally.
