HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS

Chowan enters the Round-Up with an 11-8 overall record and comes off a 4-1 weekend trip in Salem, Va.  This will be the first CIAA contests of the season for the Hawks.

Lindsey Stigler leads the Hawks at the plate with a .407 batting average and leads the team with 22 hits. Kris Neal is second on the club with a .328 average and has 19 hits.  Brittany Parson leads the club with three home runs.  Beth Walker chips in with 15 RBI.

Shannon Buchanan is 5-4 this season in the circle with a 3.59 ERA.  Buchanan leads the team with 54.2 innings pitched.  Shelby Griffis is 5-4 in the circle this season with a 3.41 ERA.

Molly Rosenthal, Shelby Griffis and Coach Brian De Witt earned CIAA Weekly honors this week.
