HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan picked up a huge CIAA Northern Division win over the weekend by upsetting nationally ranked Virginia Union, 85-79. The Hawks are 16-4 this season and 8-2 in CIAA play.
The Hawks moved up to seventh in the D2SIDA poll after beating #4 Virginia Union. CU has been ranked every week this season in the poll.
The Blue and White is led by seniors Dhyamond Crenshaw and Chantel Roberts. Crenshaw leads the team with 17.2 points per game. Roberts is nearly averaging a double-double in CIAA play this season at 18.2 points and 9.9 rebounds per outing.
Mariah Coker chips in with 12.4 points and 5.5 assists per contest. Danielle Weldon adds to the mix with 11.4 points and 7.7 rebounds a game.
Coach LaToya Jones garnered CIAA Weekly honors this week.
VIKING FACTS
Elizabeth City State is 9-13 on the season and winless in the division. The Vikings are coming off a loss to Johnson C. Smith on Monday evening.
Jalyn Brown leads the Vikings with 17.8 points per game. Devona Stell nets 13.0 points and 9.3 rebounds per contest.

HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan rallied to beat Virginia Union on AspireTV over the weekend coming back from an 11 point second half deficit to win by double-figures. The Hawks are 8-11 on the season and 3-7 in CIAA action.
The Hawks have four players in double-figures this season. Tim Hewett leads the charge with 17.4 points per night. Gus Rowland (12.5), Robert Grubbs (12.3) and Demetrius Sanders (12.0) add to the mix.
Dino Muminovic has thrown a block party since his arrival on campus. The senior transfer has produced 59 blocks so far this season. Muminovic is third all-time in DII Chowan history.

Elizabeth City State is 9-11 on the season and 2-8 in CIAA play. The Vikings are 3-5 on the road this season. The Vikings are 1-4 in the last five CIAA games picking up a win against Virginia Union.
