Chowan picked up a huge win against Johnson C. Smith at the buzzer on Monday evening, 82-81, to improve to 9-13 on the season.
The Hawks have four players in double-figures this season. Tim Hewett leads the charge with 16.5 points per night. Gus Rowland (12.0), Robert Grubbs (12.9) and Demetrius Sanders (13.0) add to the mix.
Dino Muminovic has thrown a block party since his arrival on campus. The senior transfer has produced 62 blocks so far this season. Muminovic is third all-time in DII Chowan history.

Salem enters the contest with a 6-16 record and comes off a win. The Tigers defeated the Hawks 90-85 earlier in the season in overtime at home.
Malik Toppin leads the Tigers scoring 20.0 points per game. Reggie Oliver is close behind with 18.9 points a night.
