Chowan dropped to 17-5 and 9-3 in CIAA action after falling to Virginia State in a CIAA Northern Division battle on the road over the weekend.
The Hawks slid to eighth in the recent D2SIDA Atlantic Regional poll following their loss to #6 regionally Virginia State.
The Blue and White is led by seniors Dhyamond Crenshaw and Chantel Roberts. Crenshaw leads the team with 17.0 points per game. Roberts is averaging a double-double in CIAA play this season at 17.9 points and 10.4 rebounds per outing.
Mariah Coker chips in with 12.1 points and 5.5 assists per contest. Danielle Weldon adds to the mix with 10.9 points and 7.4 rebounds a game.

Johnson C. Smith is the defending CIAA Tournament Champions and come into the contest with a 15-8 overall record and a 7-5 mark in CIAA play.
The Golden Bulls are led by Jasmine Carter scoring 13.5 points per game.

Chowan dropped to 8-13 on the season after falling to nationally ranked Virginia State, 71-60, on the road over the weekend.
The Hawks have four players in double-figures this season. Tim Hewett leads the charge with 16.3 points per night. Gus Rowland (12.3), Robert Grubbs (12.8) and Demetrius Sanders (11.9) add to the mix.
Dino Muminovic has thrown a block party since his arrival on campus. The senior transfer has produced 62 blocks so far this season. Muminovic is third all-time in DII Chowan history.
