Chowan improved to 3-0 on the season after defeating Regent in their last contest. Demetrius Sanders leads the Hawks averaging 15.7 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. Timothy Bing is in double-figures with 11.7.
Gus Rowland and Michael Kelly are averaging 9.7 points each. Rowland is averaging a shade under five assists a game, while Kelly hauls in 7.0 rebounds an outing.
MOVING PAST MOUNT OLIVE
Mount Olive is 1-3 on the young season and losers of two straight at home. The Trojans are coming off one of their worst losses falling to UNC Pembroke 105-58.
Alan Treakle leads the team averaging 15.3 points per game. Michael Brown is a stat stuffer averaging 10.3 points, 5.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.
