HAWKS HITTERS

Chowan started the season with a win against Piedmont International on Monday, 86-66.

Three players scored in double figures for the Hawks as Ja'Darien Wade leads the team with 24.0 points per game.  Timothy Bing and Demetrius Sanders tallied 19 and 16 points in the win.

CORRALLING THE MUSTANGS

Mid-Atlantic Christian is 0-2 to start the season and has played in three exhibitions.

Greg Bloodsworth and Talik Totten lead the Mustangs with 17.5 points per game.  Garfield Brown chips in with 16.0 points a night.  Aaron Scott leads the team with 12.5 rebounds a game.

SERIES RECORDS

Chowan and Mid-Atlantic Christian will meet for the eighth time in the series with the Hawks taking a 7-0 start in the series.  Chowan defeated MACU 96-52 last season.
