HAWKS HITTERS
Chowan finished the season with an 11-16 overall record and a fifth place finish in the CIAA Northern Division.
The Hawks return three of the five leading scorers from last season led by Demetrius Sanders.  Sanders tallied 14.1 points per game last season along with 4.8 rebounds.  Robert Grubbs and Gus Rowland chipped in with 12.9 and 12.4 points respectively.
Newcomer, Ja'Darien Wade will play a role in the offense recording 17 points and seven rebounds in the exhibition against NC State.
CAGING THE BRUINS
Piedmont International is 2-1 on the season and winners of their last two contests.  Tamir Glenn leads the Bruins with 22.0 points and 8.6 rebounds a game.
The Bruins finished the 2017-18 season with a 13-10 overall record.
SERIES RECORDS
Chowan and Piedmont International will meet for the third time in the series with the Hawks holding the 2-0 series lead.  The Hawks are averaging 92.5 points per game in the series, while the Bruins score 48.5 points.
