LINCOLN, PA. – The Chowan Volleyball team continued their quest for the CIAA Northern Division title with a 3-1 win over Lincoln on Friday evening.

Milica Vejnovic posted a double-double with 17 kills and 11 digs. Courtney O'Keefe notched 12 kills.
Raven Finley-Flowers and Breona Young chipped in with seven kills and six kills respectively.
Meghan Mutter registered a team-high 20 digs in the win, Alyssa Born posted 18 digs.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Set:
Chowan jumped out to a 7-3 lead as Raven Finley-Flowers and Milica Vejnovic sparked the offense with a kill.
The Hawks opened up the set to 13-4 with two service aces by Milica Vejnovic and a kill by Micayla Pope and Breona Young.
Lincoln fought back to even the match at 19 and 21-all. The Lions took the set with three errors by the Hawks, 25-22.
Second Set:
The second set saw both teams swap points early until 12-10. Milica Vejnovic sparked the run with a kill followed by a service ace by Courtney O'Keefe.
Breona Young opened the set to 19-13 with a kill. The Hawks would take the set 25-18 on a kill by Milica Vejnovic, Raven Finley-Flowers and a service ace by Micayla Pope.
Third Set:
Much like the second set, both teams swapped points until 13-all. Raven Finley-Flowers put the Hawks ahead for good with a kill. Breona Young netted two kills to keep the offense moving.
Lincoln roared back to even the set at 23-all before a kill by Milica Vejnovic and an error by Lincoln allowed the Hawks to take the set.
Fourth Set:
Chowan jumped out to a 13-2 lead to force a timeout. Micayla Pope served up the first seven points for the Hawks with Courtney O'Keefe and Alyssa Born registering a kill, along with two aces by Pope.
The Hawks doubled up the Lions at 18-9 with a service ace by Alyssa Born. The Hawks would take the set, 25-16, for the match victory.
