Chowan improved to 6-8 on the season picking up a valuable win over cross-town rival Elizabeth City State over the weekend.
The Hawks have four players in double-figures in scoring. Tim Hewett leads the attack with 15.9 ppg with Robert Grubbs (13.1), Gus Rowland (12.0), and Demetrius Sanders (11.5).
Dino Muminovic has thrown a block party since his arrival on campus. The senior transfer broke the single season record for blocks with seven blocks against Livingstone. Muminovic sits with 44 blocks this season.

North Greenville sits at 6-10 on the season coming off a loss to Mount Olive on Monday. The Crusaders are members of the Conference Carolinas.
Daniel Burchette leads the team with 18.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per contest. The Crusaders sit in eighth in the Conference Carolinas in the league standings.
