Kayla Robins pitched a no hitter and struck out 10 batters in a 23-0 game one win while freshman
Shelby Griffis also pitched a no-hitter in an 8-0 game two win.
The Hawks pounded out 17 hits as a team with six players garnering multiple hit games.
Brook Bowen ended game one 2-2 with a homerun and three runs batted in while
Tina White was a perfect 3-3 at the plate.
Brittany Parson ended game one 2-2 while
Danielle Baccus went 2-3 with four runs batted in.
Emily Stafford went 2-3 with two runs scored and two runs batted in and
Katrina Simmons ended game one with three runs scored and three runs batted in.
Robins pitched her 15th win of the season and her second no hitter of the year. She struck out 10 Lady Vikings in five innings of work.
The Hawks tallied eight hits as a squad with Simmons leading the way with a 2-3 plate performance. Baccus was 1-2 with a two run homerun.
Elizabeth City State University fell to 1-17 on the year and 0-5 in the CIAA after Saturday's losses.
The Hawks will hit the field again on Saturday, April 8th, when Virginia State University comes to town for a CIAA Northern Division match up. The games will also serve as Senior Day for Chowan.
