Box Score ELIZABETH CITY, NC-The Chowan University women's basketball team picked up a 66-51 win over Elizabeth City State University on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks improve to a 15-7 overall with the victory and 8-4 in CIAA competition. The Lady Vikings drop to 4-15 on the season and 2-9 in the league with the CIAA Northern Division setback.

Chowan had nine out of ten players score in the victory. Dhyamond Crenshaw tallied 12 points for the Hawks while Courtni Williams added 11 points and three steals. Jada Lee chipped in ten points and four boards in the match-up.

Chalise Greenwood scored a team high of 14 points and eight rebounds, while Jalyn Brown added nine points for the Lady Vikings.

Chowan shot 39% from the floor (20-52) while Elizabeth City shot 31% (20-65) in the contest. The Hawks out rebounded the Lady Vikings 39-35 with Jordan Payne leading Chowan with 11 boards. The Hawks and Lady Vikings each grabbed 12 offensive rebounds in the match up.

The Hawks will return to the Helms Center on February 8^th where they will host Virginia State University. Game is slated for 5:30pm
