HAWKS HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan rolled to their first two wins of the season with wins over Piedmont International (92-47) and the Apprentice (94-74).
Tim Hewett leads the Hawks' attack with 21 points per game and 5.5 assists. Newcomers Demetrius Sanders and Gus Rowland are stat stuffers averaging 18.0 points per game each. Sanders adds 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 4.0 blocks per game to his totals. Rowland is averaging 6.5 boards, 4.5 assists, and 3.5 steals to go with his 18.0 points per contest.
Robert Grubbs chips in with 10.5 points per game off the bench.
ABOUT THE MUSTANGS
Mid-Atlantic Christian is 2-3 on the season and comes off a 91-73 victory over Carolina Christian at home.
Grayson Tejeda leads the team with 17.6 points per game shooting 50% from the floor. Tyler Hendrix is the only other Mustang in double-figures at 12.0 points per game.
LAST MEETING
This is the seventh overall meeting with the Hawks and Mustangs. Chowan has swept the series so far at 6-0. The Hawks have topped 100 points in three of the six games in the series with the other contests falling short at 97, 97, and 98 points.
