WALLACE, NC- The Chowan University men's golf team concluded play at the UNC-Pembroke/Sunoco Classic on Tuesday afternoon.  The Hawks finished in 15^th place out of 15 teams competing in the tournament. 

Erskine College took home first place honors with a three-round score of 890.  Queens University of Charlotte finished a mere two strokes behind Erskine to earn second place honors. 

After turning in a first round team score of 333 and second round score of 331, the Hawks carded a 327 in the final round.  Jordan Francis turned in scores of 85 and 76 on Monday and followed up with a team-low of 77 on Tuesday afternoon.  Francis ended the tournament tied for 55^th place overall. Billy Britton finished the three-round competition tied for 69^th place.  He shot an 80 in the first round, 81 in the second round and 84 in the final round of play. 

Rich Edwards carded an 82 on Tuesday to finish in 76^th place in the 82-golfer field.  Edwards shot an 84 in Monday's first round and an 85 in the second round. Sean Wilson rounded out the scoring for the Chowan Blue and White.  He carded an 84 in the first and third rounds with an 89 in the second round. 

Nick Hahula also competed for the Hawks.  After carding a 97 and 93 in the first two rounds, Hahula battled back to turn in an 88 on the final day of play. 

The Hawks return to action April 5^th-7^th to compete in the Mount Olive Invitational.
