Box Score MURFREESBORO, NC- The Chowan University women's lacrosse team completed their season on Wednesday afternoon.  The Hawks earned a 20-4 win over Brevard College to finish the year with a 4-9 record.  The Tornados slip to 0-13 on the season with the loss. 
 
Mackenzie Reid had eight goals in the victory. Shauna Anderson, Sierra Burston, Cindy Escobar, and Charisse Wilcox each had two goals for the Blue and White while Evelyn McGrue, Adriea Herndon, Tyra Simmons and Molly Clever each added a score for Chowan in the win. 
 
Brevard scored within the first minute of play to take an early lead in the first half.  The Hawks responded with 12 unanswered goals before taking a 13-2 lead heading into halftime.  Chowan had five different players account for seven additional goals in the second half en-route to securing the 20-4 victory. 
 
Chowan's second year lacrosse program doubled their win total from one year ago.  Shauna Anderson was the lone senior on the team and she competed in her final game for the Blue and White on Thursday.
