Play Concludes at 27th PGA Minority Golf Collegiate Championship, Sean Wilson Finishes 22nd

Sean Wilson finished 22nd at the PGA Golf Minority Golf Championship.
PORT ST. LUCIE, FL- The 27th PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship presented by Brown Capital Management concluded play on Sunday afternoon.  Chowan University's Sean Wilson finished the tournament in the Men's Independent Division tied for 22nd place after shooting a three day total of 259, scoring an 85-87-87 in the first, second and third rounds respectively.  Michael Harden from Clemson University tied Wilson for 22nd in the 35 player field.
 
Robert Grant of Alabama State won an exciting three-person playoff to earn the title.   Justin Watkins from Central Oklahoma and Daniel Inocencio of UNLV finished tied for second in the Men's Independent Division.  

The PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship presented by Brown Capital Management, which is celebrating its 27th edition this year, originated in November 1986 following the Jackson State University Golf Tournament, and has elevated golf in minority colleges and universities by providing opportunities to more players to compete in a national championship.
 In 2006, The PGA of America was granted complete ownership and management of the championship by the National Minority Collegiate Golf Scholarship Fund.
