Box Score BLUEFIELD, WEST VA- The Chowan University me's basketball team evened their record to 2-2 on the season after a 72-55 win over Blufield State on Saturday evening.  Ashante Ross tallied 18 points in the win while Phoenix Butler-Poole added 16 points.  Kyree Bethel and Tiron Brown each notched 11 points for the Blue and White.

Butler-Poole hauled in a team high 12 rebounds.  Shalir Dunning led all players in the contest with 18 points for Bluefield State.  The Blues led 29-28 at halftime but the Hawks outscored Bluefield State 44-26 in the second half to take home the 72-55 win.  Please note that complete results and statistics were not available at the time of this release.  The Hawks will be back in action on Wednesday when they host St. Augustine's University.
