Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SALEM, VA - The Chowan University softball team split their final day's play at the 2012 WVIAC Challenge today. The Hawks opened play this morning with a tough extra innings 5-4 loss to Mansfield University. They bounced back to take a 6-3 win over West Liberty State University to close out the tournament. The Hawks went 2-5 in the tournament overall.

The Hawks will continue with competition on Monday, March 19th as they play host to West Virginia State University in a nonconference doubleheader. The games are slated to start at 1:00pm on the campus of Chowan University.
