HAMPTON, VA - The Chowan University women's basketball team picked up the #5 seed out of the CIAA's North Division and will face off against #4 seed out of the South Divison, Fayetteville State University. The two teams will play at 3:00pm on Tuesdsay afternoon in Charlotte, NC at the Time Warner Cable Arena. Fans can follow the tournament action by logging on the CIAA website at www.theciaa.com.

The two teams met one time earlier in the season with Chowan beating the Lady Broncos 66-54. CU's Talaya Lynch scored a career-high 31 points in the outing.
