Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 BELMONT, NC - The Chowan University Volleyball team defeated Converse College in five games, then fell to Belmont Abbey College in four in a tri-match on Saturday.  With the loss to Belmont Abbey, Chowan had their 14 match winning streak snapped.

Chowan (18-4) took care of Converse 25-19, 25-27, 25-20, 21-25, 15-9 to win their 14th straight.  The Hawks were then defeated by Belmont Abbey 22-25, 19-25, 28-26, 19-25.

Complete stats were not available at the time of release.  The Hawks will return to action on Tuesday, October 11th, when they host CIAA opponent Virginia State University at 6:00pm.
