SALISBURY, NC – The Chowan University Men's Soccer team fell to 0-8 on the year following a 7-0 loss to Catawba College on Wednesday.  Catawba moves to 4-7.
 
Catawba scored three goals in less than three minutes early in the first period to open up a 3-0 lead.  Carson Smith added his third goal of the game in the 30^th minute to give Catawba a 4-0 advantage.
 
Catawba would score three more times in the second period to win 7-0.  Four Chowan players recorded shots, while Catawba tallied 21 total shots.  The Hawks will host Bluefield College (VA) on Saturday, October 8^th for their next match.
