Box Score WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Chowan University men's basketball team fell to 1-10 on the year and 0-3 in the CIAA after falling to Winston-Salem State University 65-62 in CIAA divisional cross over action tonight. Both Quinton McDuffie and Mark Brown put up 20 points but it wasn't enough to hold off the Rams in the end. WSSU improves to 9-2 overall and 3-1 in the league after tonight's game.

McDuffie hauled in 11 rebounds to go with his 20 points to notch his second double-double of the season. Brown hit 8-14 from the field and scored 20 points in the game. WSSU's Shelton Carter came off the bench to score 19 points while Paul Davis scored 16 points and had 11 boards.

Chowan will travel to Shaw on Saturday for a CIAA cross game. Tip off for that game is slated for 8:00pm.
