Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 RALEIGH, NC - The softball team ran their CIAA record to a perfect 10-0 after sweeping Saint Augustine's College this afternoon 22-0 and 37-2. The Hawks pounded out 40 hits over ten innings and scored a combined 59 runs on the day. With today's doubleheader sweep, Chowan improves to 16-15 on the year. 

Allie Kolezynski pitched the win in the 22-0 shut out. She struck out six and gave up just one hit over five innings. She also cleaned up at the plate, going 3-5 with five RBI and three stolen bases. Brooke Owen was 3-3 with four RBI and a triple while Tricia Gorman knocked in five runs and tallied three hits. 

Lacey Wildeboer pitched the nightcap win. She gave up two runs on three hits and struck out six in the win. Chowan collected 36 hits in the win with Melissa Woodrum going 4-5 with six RBI and a homerun. Brenna Thomas was 3-4 with three runs scored and Shelby Pendleton was 3-5 with two runs scored. 

The Hawks will take a break from CIAA action to host West Virginia State University tomorrow afternoon at 12:00pm.
