Box Score CHARLOTTE - The men's basketball team dropped their second game of the season today as they fell to Catawba College 78-55 in a non-conference match up. Chowan moves to 3-2 overall after today's loss while Catawba improves to 5-3 on the year. Chowan, who went into the game averaging nearly 78 points per game, were held to just 55 today. 

Mark Brown led the way for the second straight game for Chowan. He scored a team-high 16 points. Jaleel Nelson scored 11 points and Lando Morrison joined his teammates in double figures with 10 points. 

The Hawks will return to action on Wednesday, December 9th as they travel to Virginia Union for a CIAA cross-divisional match up. The Hawks beat the defending CIAA East Champs in Mufreesboro on Monday night, 75-72.
