ROCKY MOUNT, NC - The men's soccer team fell to 0-7-1 on the season after suffering a 12-0 loss at North Carolina Wesleyan this afternoon. The Bishops scored 7 first half goals and 5 second half goals in the match and out shot the Hawks 37 to 2.
Chowan's Brandon Payne collected both shots for Chowan. Josh Cenci started in goal allowing 7 goals and getting 4 saves while Daniel Callahan played the second half in goal allowing 5 goals and getting 5 saves.
NC Wesleyan improves to 9-0 on the year after today's win. Chowan will hit the field again on Sunday as they travel to Guilford for a 2:00pm match.
