MURFREESBORO - The women's soccer team cruised to a 7-1 win over Faulkner University this afternoon, moving them to 2-4 on the season. 

Chowan totaled 37 shots, 22 of which were on goal. The Braves were paced by Lisa Knieriemen and Kermethia Abernathy who both collected 2 goals in the win. Stephanie Montague had a goal and an assist in the win while Veronica Austin added a goal in the win. Emily Warthan had 8 saves while allowing 1 goal in the win. 

The Braves improve to 2-4 on the year after today's win. They will travel to VMI on Tuesday for a 4:00pm match. They will return home to host Bluefield College next Saturday at 4:00pm.
