MURFREESBORO - The men's soccer team picked up their first win of the season after shutting out Patrick Henry College 7-0 this afternoon. The win gave first year skipper Rob Battisson his first collegiate head coaching win.

Chowan collected 55 total shots on the day while holding PHC to just 4 total shots. Daniel Hall scored 2 goals in the win while Leon Waddell added 1 goal and 2 assists. Trae Burgess scored a goal and an assist while Eddie Harris added a goal.

The Braves will host Averett University on Friday at 2:00pm.
