LAURINBURG, NC – The men's soccer team fell 8-0 to St. Andrews College (1-1-0) in their second game of the season.

Chowan (0-2-0) had its best scoring chance midway through the second half when junior Joseph Rampersad (Ahoskie, NC) headed a cross, but St. Andrews goalkeeper Marcus Gumbrecht made the save. Chowan took five of its six shots in the final 30 minutes. St. Andrews finished with 16 shots on goal, while senior goalkeeper Nick Anders (Richmond, VA) recorded eight saves.

The Braves have one more game on the road before a 7-game home stretch. They head to Erskine College in Due West, SC September 3rd. Game time is set for 3:00pm.
