MURFREESBORO, NC - The Braves moved to 14-9 on the season after beating Peace College 64-55 in basketball action this evening. The Braves trailed by 2 at the half but managed to get a lead that they would not give up for the remainder of the game. Ashley Winslow netted her eleventh double-double of the season by scoring a game-high 25 points and grabbing 18 rebounds. Kara Jackson contributed 17 points and 3 steals in the win. The Braves travel to Averett on Thursday and then to Ferrum on Sunday. The Dixie tournament begins the 21st in Rocky Mount, hosted by NC Wesleyan College.
