MURFREESBORO - The Braves moved to 5-12 on the season and 1-5 in the conference after ending a five-game losing streak this afternoon against Averett University. The 92-74 win was the first conference win for the Braves this season. The Braves came out strong in the first half, holding Averett scoreless for the first five minutes of the game. The Braves carried a 47-45 lead into the locker room at the half and just as in the first half, started the second half off with a bang as well. The Braves were led by

Dejuan Green bucketed 15 and dished out 3 assists while teammate
Rocky Ferrante scored 11 and had 6 assists.
Roland Brown finished the game with a game-high 10 rebounds and dished out 5 assists while scoring 5 points. The Braves shot 54% from the floor in the win. The Braves face off against Ferrum College tomorrow at 3:00pm.
