NEWPORT NEWS, VA - The Braves fell to 3-3 on the season after losing to the Apprentice School in basketball action last night 66-76. The Braves were behind at the half 11 points and despite a run in the second half the Braves were unable to close the gap for the win. 
Bryan Christian shot 50% from the floor hitting 6-12 shots for 15 points while also grabbing 8 rebounds. Freshman 
Derek Ragland added 13 points and 7 rebounds while 
Steve Harler scored 9 points in the loss. The Braves host the Apprentice School in their next game on December 11, 2001. Game time is slated for 7:30pm. Following that game on December 14-15, the Braves will host the fourth annual Chowan College Shoot-Out.
