ROCKY MOUNT, NC-The Braves took part in a Dixie Conference tri-match which set them up against Averett University in the first match. Averett won in three straight games. For Chowan, Nynda Jowers had 11 kills with 7 digs while teammate Ashley Winslow had 9 kills and 2 kills. In the second game versus Ferrum College, the Braves again lost in three straight games. Leading the Braves statistically were Ashley Winslow with 9 kills and Nynda Jowers with 8 kills.
