The Chowan cheerleaders, the "Sapphires" are a team of men and women with dedication, high energy, school spirit, and pride. We are proud to support our Hawks! We work hard year round training, and perfecting our skills and abilities. Cheering offers the opportunity to be involved withour campus and community, building strong character and friendships, and excelling at a collegiate level.
Cheerleaders cheer both football and basketball seasons. They also perform and make appearances at games and events throughout the school year. All cheerleaders receive the following:
