MURFREESBORO, N.C. - The Chowan University softball team announced on Tuesday several upcoming game changes because of inclement weather in the area. After postponing Sunday's doubleheader and home opener with Virginia Union, the Hawks were set to open the 2026 season on Wednesday, February 4th at Elizabeth City State University. That doubleheader has been postponed to February 21st in Elizabeth City, N.C. 

The Hawks have picked up two games over the weekend at UNC-Pembroke. Chowan will face off against Felician University on Saturday, February 7th at 10:00am at UNC-Pembroke, followed by a single game with Kutztown University at 12:00pm. All games will be played at UNC-Pembroke. 

The originally scheduled ame against Virginia Union for this past Sunday has been rescheduled for March 18th at Hawks Field with game times at 1:00pm and 3:00pm.
