MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Due to an incoming forecast of inclement weather, Chowan University has adjusted its upcoming softball season opener.

The doubleheader originally scheduled for Sunday, February 1, against Virginia Union has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 18. First pitch is set for 1:00 p.m., with game two to follow at 3:00 p.m. at the CU Softball Field.

The decision was made with the safety of fans, student-athletes, and staff as the top priority. Additional updates will be shared across all Chowan University Athletics platforms.
