MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan University women's soccer team improved to 3-4 overall and 3-2 in league play after a 1-0 win over Ferrum College on Saturday afternoon. Laura Hulme's penalty kick in the 32' of the match was enough to ice the match for the Hawks on senior day. The Hawks honored seniors Gracie Ross, Maya James, Maya Schofield, Mya Turner, Destiny Makenjoula, Lily Harrison, Laura Hulme, Abigail Simon, and Karla Artolozaga. Ferrum College falls to 2-3-2 overall and 1-3 in league play.
