PEMBROKE, N.C. – The Chowan University women's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw against conference rival UNC Pembroke on Saturday afternoon. Both the Hawks and the Braves were held scoreless, marking the first tie of the season for each team. With the result, Chowan's record now stands at 3-4-1 overall and 3-2-1 in Conference Carolinas play, while UNC Pembroke improves to 5-2-1 overall and remains unbeaten in the league at 5-0-1.

The Hawks recorded nine shots in the match, including three on goal. Amy Cotton and Addisen Palmer each tallied two shots, with one on target apiece, while Adriana Lightfoot added another shot that was on goal. Riley Donnelly, Abigail Simon, Jayda Dubeck, and Maya Schofield also contributed to the offense, each registering a shot.
In goal, Kylee Smith recorded six saves to secure the shutout for Chowan, while the defense limited UNC Pembroke to just six shots on goal out of 18 total.
