Hawks Drop Saturday Doubleheader at Francis Marion

FLORENCE, S.C. – The Chowan baseball team fell to the Francis Marion Patriots in a road Conference Carolinas doubleheader on Saturday afternoon.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE

In game one, Christopher Rumaldo and Elvis Rumaldo each collected two hits, with Christopher adding an RBI to his stat line. 

Josh Wise took the start on the mound and was tagged with the loss, while Zackary Wilson and TyShawn Sellers provided relief out of the bullpen.

In game two, Christopher Rumaldo paced the Hawks' offense with two hits, while Nick Reiss and Noah Simpson each added a hit. 

Angel Diaz took the start on the mound and was credited with the loss. Gabe King, Dylan Nickle, Dawson Wiggins, and Landon Tyndall all saw time in relief.

UP NEXT

The Hawks host Mount Olive on Saturday, April 25 at 12:00 PM for their final Conference Carolinas regular season matchup at Hawkins Field.
