SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The No. 3 seed Chowan University Hawks faced off against No. 2 seed Emmanuel in the Conference Carolinas semifinals on Saturday afternoon. Despite a determined effort, the Hawks were ultimately defeated by the Lions.

The Hawks' bench contributed 20 points, while the team added 24 points in the paint and scored seven second-chance points. The semifinal game was back and forth, with seven ties and 10 lead changes throughout.

Daylan Askew led the Hawks with 14 points, while RJ Wilson contributed 12 points, seven rebounds, and a blocked shot. Cheick Traore added eight points, seven rebounds, and two blocks in what could be their final game as Hawks. Aaron Ross added eight points.
