CENTRAL, S.C. - The Chowan University women's lacrosse team fell 12-3 to Southern Wesleyan University in Conference Carolinas action on Saturday afternoon. Three different Hawks notched goals in the match.

Victoria Brown each recorded a goal in the match.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
Chowan trailed 6-1 at the half, but scored two quick goals in the 3rd quarter to cut into the SWU lead. SWU went on to notch six unanswered goals over the last two periods of play to take the match with a final of 12-3.
Kezia Ramos continued to play solid in goal after posting 17 game saves.
Cameryn Barrow added an assist in the match. Chowan picked up 33 ground balls and had 11 team clears.
