MURFREESBORO, N.C. - The recent snow storm that brought more than six inches of snow to Chowan's campus this week has forced postponements for this weekend's home men's and women's lacrosse matches. 

The women's lacrosse team was scheduled to play the University of the District of Columbia Saturday, February 22nd at 11:00 am but poor field conditions from snow accumulation have forced a postponement of the match. A date and time will be released as soon as it is confirmed. 

The men's lacrosse team was originally scheduled to host Coker College on Saturday, February 22nd but poor field conditions due to snow accumulation have forced the two teams to push the match to Sunday, February 23rd. Match time on Sunday, February 23rd,  is slated for 2:30pm at Hawks Field (Vincent Center).
