WILSON, N.C. – The Chowan University men's soccer team out-scored Barton 1-0 to secure the victory on Tuesday evening. The match remained scoreless for most of the night until Cameron Letterlough broke through with the game-winner in the final 15 minutes. Backed by a strong defensive effort, the Hawks improved to 4-3-2 overall and 2-2-2 in conference play, while the Bulldogs dropped to 4-5-2 overall and 3-2-1 in league action.

The Hawks outshot the Bulldogs 19-11, including a 5-3 edge in shots on goal. Cameron Letterlough led the attack with six shots—three on target—and netted the decisive game-winner. Bradley Binns added four shots, while Jeevan Purewal tallied three, and Sam Deacon totaled two. Dillon Rajkovic, Clay Verdin, Hlynur Fridriksson, and Bradley Williams each chipped in one attempt to round out Chowan's offensive effort.
In goal, Lucas Kibrya recorded three saves, while the Hawks defense as a unit stood firm to keep Barton off the board and secure the shutout victory.
