MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Conference Carolinas announced its September Freshman of the Month honorees for fall sports on Friday afternoon, with Chowan's Cameron Letterlough earning recognition as the Men's Soccer Freshman of the Month.

Letterlough has had a big opening month for Chowan, scoring seven goals and adding two assists. He opened the season with single goals against Concord and Emory & Henry before posting two goals and two assists against Virginia State. The goal against Emory & Henry was the game-winner in the 2-1 win. He later added another goal against Barton before closing the month with goals against Mount Olive and Ferrum. He's ranked second in the league in goals and points in September while leading in shots and shots on goal.
