MURFREESBORO, N.C. – CU men's basketball secured the win over Francis Marion in a high-intensity conference matchup at the Hawks Athletic Center on Wednesday night.

The Hawks dominated in points in the paint (36) and scored 21 points off turnovers. The bench provided depth, adding 44 points. Chowan had 13 second-chance points and 15 fast-break points.
Cheick Traore recorded his first double-double since February 19th, 2022, when he grabbed 17 rebounds and scored 14 points at North Greenville. Tonight, he posted 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Israel Powell set a new career high with 11 points, surpassing his previous best of seven.
Damerius Summers led the Hawks scoring with 17 points, while also adding nine rebounds and two steals.
